Vivian (6.9 sqm) compact garden cabin

The Vivian (6.9 sqm) is a traditional and compact garden cabin, ideal for a small or medium garden, and suitable for a wide range of uses. In terms of dimensions it gives you 3.0 x 2.4m of floor space for chairs or garden storage.

The half-glazed double doors at the front of the Vivian (6.9 sqm) log cabin maximise its versatility. It’s easy to get things in and out, easy to find things, and easy to let the sunshine stream in. So it could equally well serve as workshop, bike store, elegant garden storage solution, or a place to contain your partner and his vinyl collection. Or maybe somewhere to retreat with book, latte and a chocolate brownie.

The Vivian (6.9 sqm) compact garden cabin is fabricated from 28mm logs, from Nordic spruce. These are denser than southern European varieties of timber, making them sturdier and more resistant to weather. Real wood is also used for the tongue-and-groove boards in the roof and floor – harder-wearing than chipboard or plywood, and much more attractive as well.

Other adaptations to the Northern European climate include wooden storm braces, and the pressure treatment used on the foundation joists, to boost their resistance to rot or decay.
