The point about the Britta log cabin is that it can be anything you want to be. It’s a clean slate for your lifestyle and interior design aspirations. We’ve kept the design detail to a minimum to maximise the versatility, and with four size options there’s a model to suit any need: Britta 14.6 sqm (standard), Britta 17.5 sqm (medium), Britta 19.7 sqm (large) and Britta 22.3 sqm (extra large).

This Swiss chalet style garden cabin (the standard Britta model) has 14.6 sqm of space. It’s big enough for a home gym, games room, workroom, home spa, art studio, or even home-based business. You could incorporate plenty of storage, and still have space to work, relax, exercise, or banish the children. Dense 40mm thick timber walls mean all four cabin sizes are sufficiently insulated for using 365 days a year.

In terms of appearance, the proportions and attractive close-grained timber make all four sizes of this log cabin a fine adornment for any larger garden. If you don’t opt for dip treatment we recommend that you treat the wood as soon as possible after you construct the cabin, but other than that you have free rein. You could keep it the natural wood appearance, or use colour to achieve a forest look or a beach hut vibe.

The simplicity of the design of this Swiss chalet style garden cabin means it is straightforward to build yourself, whatever your level of DIY expertise. It’s important to note, however, that you do need a firm and level base, which you should ideally have prepared before delivery.
