Lotta (13.9 sqm) traditional garden log cabin

This traditional garden log cabin is a simple design, but by no means basic. Behind the simplicity there’s a crowd of features that ensure great durability and quality. There’s also a vast 13.9 sqm of floorspace, making it a great area for a workshop or games room, or just garden storage. If you are a family of mountain bikers or racing cyclists, it makes a spacious and secure bike shed.

The timber is 34mm Nordic spruce – it’s well known that this offers greater insulation and longevity properties than faster-grown spruce because the slow growth permits greater density. So you get a warmer, sturdier cabin than faster-growing wood, even if it’s the same thickness. Using a chalet cut for the timber enhances the attractive, upmarket appearance of the log cabin.

Floorboards and roofing use real wood – this gives a better result than cheaper plywood versions because it looks more attractive and should last longer. By laminating the doorframes, we make them less vulnerable to warping or swelling caused by damp.

The pack price for the Lotta (13.9 sqm) log cabin includes a fixing kit, with all the nails, screws, and door and window fixings you’ll need, but if you have any problems just give us a call. If you like the look but don’t have the garden space, check out the smaller 7.3 sqm and 10.0 sqm models.
