This stylish DIY timber garden room is the largest in this range and style of buildings. The building itself has two rooms; one of 4 sqm and the other 8 sqm. The possible uses for this attractive modern garden building are as a home office, pool room, games room or a number of other possibilities.

Grace (12.4+4.1 sqm) has an innovative design with laminated timber panels forming square corner connections which slot together to form a tight weatherproof seal. The walls are made from 56mm thick Quick Fit glue laminated timber panels that create a sturdy, stable and weathertight building. Laminated timber is ideal for this type of construction as it is stable and less prone to the expansion and shrinkage that can occur in non laminated timber. It also has a smoother finish and is generally free from cracks and fissures. The wall panel design makes for a simple and fast DIY construction process, meaning your garden room can be built in a much quicker time than more traditional style timber buildings.

Other features of this stylish DIY timber garden room include superior “living house” quality windows and doors, double toughened glass (4-18-4mm) for extra warmth, 19mm roof and floor boards and a venetian screen for that modern look. For roofing material you can either use standard felt or superior EPDM rubber roofing. These can be selected from the optional extras. For a comprehensive and long lasting roofing solution we would recommend the EPDM.

This cabin is supplied untreated so you will need to apply a preservative stain or solid paint once it has been constructed. If you like this design and look but are after something a little smaller then please take a look at Grace 8.1 sqm, (which also has the option of a larger roof extension).
